They say write what you know, and while I don’t know much, I do have a knack for scouting out the best recipes and making them part of my repertoire. Join me as I put on Mom Mom’s apron and share my favorite recipes with you, as well as some thoughts on life.
What a great idea for a blog! Don’t forget to write about your caesar salad recipe! I love this!!!!
Thanks, Sammy! xoxxo
Dawn – I love it!!! Clever title………I can’t wait to read more and I am making your hummus tomorrow 🙂
Dawn,
LOVE it! Being a giver, I’m here for you if you ever need a taste tester!
Jill
btw- our fav choc chip cookies too- totally worth the extra effort!
Jill, I will have to recruit you as the resident wine expert!
Dawn,
I think you are on to something here. I hear your voice in this blog, which is such a treat for me and definitely a recipe for successful writing. Your idea of kicking a recipe up a notch reminds me of the Barefoot Contessa. I think I have all her books. Do me a favor and try her turkey lasagna and let me know what you think. It is something people rave about whenever I serve it. Keep it going; those of us who are 30 minutes from the nearest fast food, like me, are desperate for some fresh ideas.
Julie
Julie,
Thanks for reading! I plan to post two famous Julie recipes from my archives soon (thanks for the inspiration), but I will send you a draft before I publish, since you will feature prominently in it and I want your approval first.
And I will definitely check out HRH Ina’s turkey lasagne once it gets cooler. Andrew was just asking for lasagne last week, 90 degree temperature be damned.
